Episode Summary:

Today, we look at the origins of Kirby by looking at the development of Kirby's Dream Land, which was released for the Nintendo Gameboy in 1992. As part of its story, we'll revisit the early history of its studio, HAL Laboratories. We'll also look at the game that almost bankrupted the studio, and talk about how it led to Kirby becoming a Nintendo published game.
